Well- 12 hours here we are. The nurse just gave us an update and Joe seems to be doing well and the surgeon is still working.

Me on the other hand— I’m ready to have him back next to me.

It’s sounding like the doctor was able to remove all of the tumors. We’ll know for sure when we get to talk to him.

Once surgeons start closing him up, it’ll be another 2 hours before we can get back to recovery to see Joe.

Long day. Long night. But #joestrong through it all.
